The PDTemplate applications are a series of similar apps built with different technologies are our shop window.



This version of PDTemplate (DNMVC5 .net MVC 5) is built on the Microsoft stack - ASP (framework 4.6.1), MVC5, Entity Framework 6, an IIS web server & a SQL Server database.

UI & UX

User Interface & Experiences.

You will have noticed the slide-in menu.Context sensitive & can be populated from a database.
Try this app on a tablet or smart phone.It's not fully optimised for small format devices, but it still works.

Incidents

To bring some features together a simple (starter) Incidents application is included:


MVC5 with out-of-the-box minimal client-side jQuery & Javascript Incidents (MVC5);
MVC5 with more extensive use of client-side AJAX & jQuery Incidents (+ client).

Administration

Administration of basic domain tables.

These database tables are presented as HTML tables. Please note that you will be working with raw data in simple text format (no dropdowns, checkboxes etc).
This simple functionality requires some knowledge of the database.
With in-line & in-modal editing using Javascript & jQuery.
Incident Type

Except for unavoidable initialisation data, configuration is held in the database.
With a cleaner in-modal insert-edit-delete using Javascript & jQuery.

This app is hosted on a Ms Windows 2016 VPS. The Linux apps are hosted on a Ubuntu 18.04 host. Both are with Contabo in Germany
